Job Summary:
HealthSy is seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to work closely with leadership and business teams to drive people strategy aligned with organizational goals. As a trusted advisor to department heads, the HRBP will enable workforce planning, talent management, performance excellence, and cultural transformation in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This role requires strong business acumen, stakeholder management capability, and hands-on HR expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience in partnering with functional leaders in startups or health-tech organizations and driving scalable HR frameworks that support growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce needs and translate business objectives into HR strategies.
- Provide insights on organizational design, manpower planning, and team structuring.
- Act as a trusted advisor on people-related matters including productivity, team dynamics, and leadership development.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Drive strategic hiring plans in collaboration with functional heads.
- Plan & execute sourcing, headhunting, structured interviews, and competency-based hiring.
- Monitor recruitment metrics such as TAT, offer-acceptance ratio, cost-per-hire, and hiring quality.
- Build succession pipelines for critical roles.
Talent Management & Capability Development
- Implement structured assessment frameworks including role-based evaluations and culture-fit assessments.
- Design and oversee On-the-Job Training (OJT) programs and cross-functional development initiatives.
- Support career pathing, succession planning, and internal mobility strategies.
- Track learning effectiveness and workforce capability enhancement.
Performance Management & Productivity Enablement
- Drive performance management cycles including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and appraisals.
- Guide managers on feedback conversations, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and development discussions.
- Promote a performance-driven, transparent, and accountable work culture aligned with organizational KPIs.
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Develop engagement initiatives that enhance employee morale and retention.
- Act as an escalation point for employee grievances and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct employee feedback surveys and analyze engagement data for actionable insights.
- Strengthen organizational culture through inclusive and collaborative initiatives.
HR Operations & Compliance Governance
- Oversee HR operations including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, confirmations, transfers, and exits.
- Ensure payroll inputs, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, LWF, gratuity, minimum wages), and labor law adherence.
- Maintain accurate HRMS records and ensure policy governance.
- Conduct periodic HR audits and compliance reviews.
HR Analytics & Leadership Reporting
- Provide data-driven insights on attrition, headcount planning, hiring trends, engagement scores, and productivity.
- Present HR dashboards and workforce analytics to leadership for informed decision-making.
- Support leadership in change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide HR team members to deliver proactive, business-aligned HR support.
- Drive process improvements and scalability within the HR function.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Masters degree in MBA Human Resources / MSW HR or equivalent.
- 35 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in a Business Partnering or leadership role.
- Strong experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with senior leadership.
- Proficiency in HRMS tools, Google Sheets, and HR analytics reporting.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with strong execution capability and business acumen.
