About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, people-first HR Lead to own and drive the Human Resources function at Eleve Media. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for building scalable HR practices, strengthening culture, and enabling high performance across the organization.
You will partner closely with leadership to shape people strategy while ensuring operational excellence across payroll, compliance, performance management, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Lead and manage the HR function in alignment with business objectives
- Advise leadership on people strategy, organizational design, and change management
Payroll & Compliance
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and statutory requirements
- Partner with Finance on audits, taxation, and compensation matters
Employee Relations
- Foster a safe, transparent, and inclusive workplace
- Handle employee grievances and conflict resolution with fairness and empathy
- Promote employee well-being and positive workplace relationships
Performance Management
- Design and manage performance appraisal and feedback frameworks
- Partner with leaders to define OKRs, KPIs, and development plans
- Drive performance improvement initiatives
Culture & Engagement
- Champion company values and cultural initiatives
- Lead employee engagement programs to build morale and collaboration
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Own end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning
- Enhance hiring processes and candidate experience
- Strengthen employer branding to attract top talent
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll, and HRMS platforms
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on execution approach
