Job Purpose
The incumbent will act as a strategic HR Business Partner for the Pizza Hut business across Karnataka and Kerala markets. The role will be responsible for driving end-to-end HR strategy and operations for assigned stores, ensuring strong people practices that enable business growth, operational excellence, and workforce stability.
The position requires leading workforce planning, high-volume talent acquisition, employee engagement, statutory compliance, and partnering closely with Operations leadership to deliver business objectives across a geographically dispersed QSR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the HR Business Partner for assigned Pizza Hut stores across Karnataka and Kerala, driving the regional people agenda in alignment with business strategy.
- Lead strategic manpower planning and end-to-end bulk hiring for frontline and store-level roles, ensuring timely closures and optimal staffing levels.
- Partner with Regional Business Heads, Area Coaches, and Store Leaders to forecast workforce needs, manage productivity ratios, and control manpower costs.
- Oversee seamless onboarding, documentation, and induction processes across multiple store locations.
- Drive the complete employee lifecycle management including confirmations, promotions, transfers, succession planning, exits, and structured attrition control initiatives.
- Lead employee engagement, retention strategies, and culture-building initiatives to enhance workforce morale and reduce frontline attrition.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters including grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and policy adherence while ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Ensure full statutory and labour law compliance applicable to QSR operations across Karnataka and Kerala.
- Review and analyze HR MIS, dashboards, productivity metrics, and attrition reports; present data-driven insights and recommendations to regional leadership.
- Collaborate with Payroll, L&D, Talent Acquisition, and Corporate HR teams to ensure seamless HR operations and governance.
- Support organizational change management initiatives, talent development, and succession planning aligned with regional growth priorities.
Key Requirements
- 8-12 years (for Manager) with strong HRBP exposure in multi-unit operations.
- Mandatory experience in the QSR industry, retail, or high-volume frontline workforce environment.
- Proven track record in bulk hiring, workforce planning, and managing geographically dispersed store operations.
- Strong hands-on experience in HR operations, employee relations, and statutory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to influence business leaders and drive people strategy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka and Kerala.
