Role Purpose
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic and operational partner to business leaders, enabling workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational performance. The role involves aligning HR initiatives with business goals while ensuring compliance, employee well-being, and a strong organizational culture.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on people strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness
- Translate business requirements into HR initiatives aligned with organizational objectives
- Support change management initiatives and drive adoption of HR programs
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Analyze employee data, trends, and feedback to identify engagement and retention gaps
- Design and implement initiatives to improve employee morale, productivity, and retention
- Drive performance management processes in partnership with leadership
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal HR policies
- Proactively identify and mitigate employee-related risks
Talent Lifecycle Management
- Oversee end-to-end onboarding, ensuring seamless integration of new hires
- Manage employee documentation, background verification, statutory compliances, benefits, and payroll coordination
- Support internal mobility, succession planning, and talent development initiatives
Culture, Ethics & Values
- Reinforce organizational values, ethics, and code of conduct across assigned business units
- Partner with leadership to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture
Stakeholder & HR Operations Collaboration
- Collaborate with COEs (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Payroll, Rewards) for effective HR delivery
- Maintain accurate HR records, MIS, and dashboards to support decision-making
- Handle HR audits and ensure documentation readiness
Qualifications & Experience
- Masters degree in HR preferred
- 34 years of relevant HR experience , preferably in a large, structured, or healthcare organization
- Prior experience in an HR Business Partner or Generalist role
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR practices to business needs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven conflict resolution and employee relations capability
- close attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
