ROLE OVERVIEW:


For our client in the hospitality industry, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead and support human resources initiatives across multiple locations.


You will play a crucial role in building a people-centric culture for a dynamic and growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand known for offering delicious, affordable, and fast cuisine.


ROLE DETAILS:


  • Role: Human Resource Manager


  • Experience Required: 10+ years


  • Clients Industry: Hospitality Group (QSR, B2B Catering, International Dining) | 15 to 20 Crore Revenue Range


  • Location: Bengaluru


  • Travel Requirements: Occasional


  • Employment Type: Full-time


  • Work Arrangement: Work from Office (WFO)


  • Working Days: Mon-Sat


ABOUT THE CLIENTS COMPANY:


Our client is a dynamic, founder-led group operating across the hospitality sector. They are currently scaling multiple verticals:


  • Primary QSR Brand: A modern South Indian fast-casual brand currently undergoing a national expansion through franchise and partner-led models.


  • B2B Catering: A large-scale corporate catering operation.


  • International Dining: Premium casual dining format being launched outside India.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. HR GENERALIST FUNCTIONS


  • Handle end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and exit formalities.


  • Maintain and update employee records, HRIS, and ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, etc.).


  • Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation and policy adherence.


2. ATTRITION CONTROL & RETENTION


  • Analyze attrition trends and work with operations to design and implement retention strategies.


  • Conduct exit interviews, identify patterns, and take corrective/preventive actions.


  • Design employee satisfaction and engagement surveys to track and improve morale.


3. EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT


  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives across all store and support office locations.


  • Foster a culture of recognition, motivation, and team bonding.


  • Create and drive internal communication campaigns to keep employees informed and involved.


4. RECRUITMENT AND TALENT ACQUISITION


  • Oversee bulk hiring and lateral recruitment for store and managerial roles.


  • Coordinate with agencies, job portals, and internal references to build a strong talent pipeline.


  • Ensure timely closure of positions to support business continuity.


5. TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT


  • Coordinate with the L&D team to ensure timely induction and on-the-job training.


  • Identify skill gaps and support the planning of development programs for store-level staff and team leaders.


6. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT


  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as operations managers, unit heads, and corporate teams to align HR initiatives with business needs.


  • Serve as the HR point of contact for regional/store-level leadership, addressing escalations and resolving workforce issues effectively.


  • Ensure timely communication and feedback loops between employees and leadership to support a transparent and responsive HR environment.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


a) Must-Haves:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources / Business Administration or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role within a QSR, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Experience in handling HR operations across multi-location retail/QSR setups.


b) Nice-to-Haves:


  • Proven track record in reducing attrition and driving employee engagement.
  • Sound knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.


c) Tools & Skills Required:


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Stakeholder management and the ability to engage with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, people-intensive environment.


REPORTING STRUCTURE:


This role will report directly to the Founder.
