We help business owners attract high-quality prospects through a product-led growth (PLG) motion powered by intelligent onboarding, behavior-based messaging, and lifecycle automation. Were building a category-defining SaaS platform, and HubSpot is a core system powering our go-to-market, revenue, and customer lifecycle strategy.
The Role: HubSpot Administrator (SaaS / PLG Focus)
We are looking for a HubSpot Administrator with deep SaaS and PLG marketing experience to own and operate our HubSpot environment end-to-end.
This is a non-developer, non-coding role, but it is not a junior admin position. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving product-led lifecycle marketing, including onboarding flows, usage-based segmentation, upgrade campaigns, and retention automation.
You will work closely with product, marketing, and leadership to ensure HubSpot reflects how users actually engage with the product and supports growth through data-driven, behavior-based automation.
Key Responsibilities
- HubSpot Administration & Architecture
- Own day-to-day administration of HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub, and Sales Hub
- Design and maintain scalable CRM architecture: properties, custom objects, lifecycle stages, pipelines, and views
- Manage users, permissions, and role-based access
- Ensure HubSpot serves as a clean, reliable system of record across the business
SaaS Lifecycle & PLG Automation
- User onboarding and activation
- Feature adoption and usage milestones
- Inactivity, re-engagement, and churn risk
- Trial-to-paid and free-to-paid conversion
- Implement time-based and usage-based email workflows (e.g., day 1, day 7, feature unlocked, usage threshold reached)
- Design and maintain upgrade and expansion campaigns based on product usage signals
- Partner with product and engineering to align HubSpot workflows with in-app events and data
Segmentation & Behavioral Targeting
- Build advanced user segments based on product usage behavior, lifecycle stage, plan type, and engagement patterns
- Maintain dynamic lists and enrollment logic to support PLG motions
- Ensure segmentation logic is clean, documented, and scalable as the product evolves
Reporting & Growth Insights
- Activation and onboarding performance
- Trial conversion and upgrades
- Retention, engagement, and churn signals
- Partner with leadership to ensure reporting is accurate, actionable, and aligned with growth goals
Data Hygiene & Operational Excellence
- Maintain high data quality (deduplication, validation, normalization)
- Enforce CRM usage standards and best practices
- Document workflows, lifecycle logic, and segmentation rules
- Act as the internal HubSpot expert and point of escalation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a HubSpot Administrator in a SaaS environment
- Hands-on experience with PLG motions, including onboarding, activation, upgrade, and retention campaigns
- Strong understanding of behavior-based email automation and lifecycle marketing
- Experience with HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub (Sales Hub a plus)
- HubSpot certifications (Admin, Marketing Hub, or Sales Hub) strongly preferred
- Experience working with product usage data (events, flags, or usage signals)
- Highly detail-oriented with a systems and process mindset
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup or growth-stage SaaS environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
