Position: HTLS Line Installation Expert

Epsilon Cable, part of the Epsilon Composite Group, is expanding its Energy activities in India and across the Asia-Pacific region and is hiring an experienced Master Installer to lead the installation, upgrading, and replacement of overhead high-voltage transmission lines using its innovative HVCRC HTLS conductors.

This is a field-oriented, senior technical role, combining hands-on expertise, supervision of crews, and technical support to partners and customers.

• Supervise and perform installation of HVCRC HTLS conductors on transmission lines, mainly in India and other Asia-Pacific countries
• Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and installation equipment
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards, in line with international transmission line engineering practices
• Support and train manufacturing and installation partners in India and abroad
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and acceptance testing
• Prepare technical reports, site documentation, and project milestone deliverables
• Work closely with Epsilon Cable teams in India and France
  

Must-have:

• Minimum 5 years experience in high-voltage transmission line installation and supervision
• Proven track record with HTLS conductors on overhead transmission lines
• Strong knowledge of sag-tension calculations, conductor behavior, and line design principles
• Fluent English, comfortable working in international environments
• Strong field leadership, autonomy, and problem-solving skills

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in projects across Asia-Pacific countries
• Certifications: working at heights, first aid, electrical safety
• Experience in training field teams or industrial partners

• Compensation: 1530k USD
• Professional travel costs fully covered
• Position based in Chennai, with frequent missions on project sites in India and other Asia-Pacific countries
