Job Opening for HSEQ superintendent

We are looking for candidates who have :

Sailed as a Master Mariner with a shore experience of atleast 2 years
Keen interest in instilling safety and compliance culture
Effective communication skills
Good understanding of safety management systems and other industry standards like ISM/ TMSA
Attention to detail and analytical ability to work independently and in team

Job responsibilities :

Promote and drives safe operations of ships
Ensure safety and compliance risks are evaluated in all daily operations
Always strive to improve safety culture on board ships to reduce accidents. Learnings from incidents are shared with all stakeholders
Accountable for compliance of safety management systems following the requirements of ISO, ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC
Management of audit / inspection performed as part of safety management systems
Liaise with Classification Society / Flag State Authority for inspections
Monitor the onboard activities about HSEQ and related systems
Prepare the vessel for Port State Inspection, Flag State inspection and Third-party inspections
Participate in incident investigations and prepare reports where nominated
Visit ships for the purpose of special attention including audit, investigation
