HR Operations & People Strategy Assistant


Gurugram (On-site) | Full-time


Babaclick is a UK-led, cross-border e-commerce and operations group with teams across India, the UK, US, and Canada. As we continue to scale, were looking for a junior HR Operations & People Strategy Assistant to work closely with leadership on people operations, hiring, internal frameworks, knowledge management, and culture enablement.


This is not a traditional admin HR role. Its designed for someone who is comfortable taking initiative, working independently, and communicating clearly in a professional, global environment .


Role Overview

Youll support the People function across talent operations, HR policy and frameworks, knowledge management, and internal communications . The role offers exposure to how people operations are designed and run in a UK-led, fast-scaling business , with direct involvement in building systems rather than just maintaining them.


What Youll Work On

Including, but not limited to:


Talent & Hiring Operations

  • Reviewing and shortlisting applications across multiple functions
  • Supporting structured hiring workflows, interview coordination, and candidate communication
  • Maintaining recruitment trackers and ensuring process consistency

HR Operations & Framework Support

  • Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and updating HR policies and internal guidelines
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of frameworks (attendance, leave, probation, performance reviews, role progression)
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation

People Strategy & Culture Enablement

  • Supporting performance review cycles, feedback processes, and people initiatives
  • Assisting with culture, engagement, and internal people communications
  • Translating leadership inputs into clear, structured HR documentation and processes

Knowledge Management & Internal Comms

  • Helping organise and maintain HR knowledge bases, trackers, and internal hubs
  • Supporting internal communications related to policies, processes, and people updates
  • Ensuring information is documented clearly and remains accessible and up to date


What Were Looking For
  • 02 years of experience in HR, people operations, or a structured operations role
  • Strong fluency in spoken and written English , with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , comfortable interacting with team members and leadership across geographies
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and take initiative
  • High attention to detail with a structured, process-driven mindset
  • Comfortable using Excel / Google Sheets and internal documentation tools
  • Discretion and maturity in handling confidential information
