SO, WHAT'S THE STORY?


As we scale up a Global Technology Centre in Bengaluru, we are looking for an exceptional HR Operations to join our passionate team and support the future of Dr. Martens. This role will report to the HR Manager at the GTC and will manage the day to day running of the GTC to ensure that all employee lifecycle activities are delivered in line with business expectations. The role will involve participating in HR projects, policies, and processes. This role provides a high standard of support to the HR function and our employees. You will connect with the managers and employees across the GTC, collaborating with stakeholders across all levels.

The incumbent should be proactive, highly organised, and adept at balancing multiple tasks. You should have excellent communication skills, discretion, and a solid understanding of HR principles to effectively fulfil these responsibilities


THE ROLE

You will provide support to our employees based in the GTC

You will act as the first point of contact for HR related queries including liaising with the wider HR/Payroll Team and ANSR HR team

You will be responsible for the full employee life cycle ensuring that all documentation from Starters, Leavers and Changes are processed in line with processes and compliance mandate outlined

You will be responsible for the administration of correspondence as required relating to offer letters, contracts, leavers letters, etc

Ensure employee files are kept up to date and in line with local requirements

You will support in country HR lead alongside the ANSR HR team (ops and payroll) to provide a joined-up Operations experience for all employees to ensure that they receive the best employee experience

Process weekly and monthly reporting tasks, i.e., end of fixed term contract reminders, service awards, probation confirmation, on-call allowances/shift allowance remainders

You will lead on the facilitation of both the local induction program and our signature onboarding program Laying Down the Tracks. Deliver on the agreed plans and continuously look for opportunities to experiment and improve the experience from the moment of offer to the end of their first 90 days

You will work closely with the wider HR Operations team to ensure all HR policies, procedures and paperwork are implemented and executed effectively and align with our culture

Provide any other ad hoc support and administration for the HR team as and when required


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

2-4 years of HR Operations experience

Capable of prioritizing workload with a methodical approach to work

Strong customer service focus with exceptional attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to build positive working relationships both within the HR team and across all department to ensure the HR department is seen as approachable, responsive, supportive and reliable

Familiarity with HR and Payroll systems

Education:

Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in HR are a plus.

Nice to Have:

HR Experience in the retail industry, particularly within a global context.
