Job Description

We are looking for an HR Lead - India to strengthen and evolve our people practices as the organization grows. This role will partner closely with leadership and managers while owning HR practices for the India team. The focus will be on building scalable HR programs, improving organizational effectiveness, and supporting a strong employee experience across the region.


The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The HR Lead will manage core HR operations for the region while helping shape people programs, management practices, and HR infrastructure that support long-term growth.


Key Responsibilities


Strategic HR Partnership & Organizational Development

  • Partner with leadership and managers to align people initiatives with business priorities and team growth.
  • Support managers in building strong teams through effective performance management, feedback, and talent development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.


HR Programs & Infrastructure

  • Design and strengthen scalable HR programs across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support the evolution of HR policies, frameworks, and processes as the company grows.
  • Leverage HR systems and people data to generate insights that support better decision-making.


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Support HR operations for the India team including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and HR process management.
  • Ensure HR practices remain compliant with applicable labour regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.


Culture & Employee Experience

  • Help strengthen a collaborative, high-trust workplace culture that supports inclusion and growth.
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance employee engagement, recognition, and overall employee experience.
  • Reinforce the companys employer brand through consistent people practices and industry-standard certifications.


Hiring & Workforce Planning

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to improve hiring practices and candidate experience.
  • Support workforce planning and internal mobility as the organization grows.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-growing or evolving organization.
  • Experience supporting managers across performance management, employee relations, and people programs.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and people analytics.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
