Job Title – HR Generalist I/II

o9 Solutions is looking for a motivated, organized, multi-tasker, and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our HR team. The HR Generalist will provide essential support in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee events, employee records maintenance, and HR administration, Policy and Process creation. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals starting their careers in HR and seeking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic workplace.

What you’ll do for us

  • Employee Lifecycle Support
    • Serve as the first point of contact for employees across the India region, assisting with inquiries on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
    • Partner closely with HR Business Partners to ensure a seamless experience across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, and transitions.
    • Conduct regular coffee chats with employees, promoting engagement, gathering feedback, and identifying improvement opportunities.
    • Experience on handling Payroll and Exit Management.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
    • Partner with the TA Team to ensure the preboarding of incoming candidates are managed appropriately
    • Manage the onboarding process across countries (including facilitating orientation), ensuring that new hires have a consistent and welcoming experience aligned with company values and policies.
    • Oversee background check processes, ensuring compliance with both local and global standards.
  • Offboarding Support
    • Coordinate offboarding processes, including exit documentation, final pay, and system access termination.
    • Collaborate with IT, Payroll, and Compliance teams to ensure a seamless transition for existing employees.
  • Policy & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws across India.
    • Support policy updates and compliance initiatives in line with local and global standards, promoting consistency across regions.
    • Participate in audits and maintain HR records, ensuring adherence to local regulations and corporate requirements.
  • Compensation & Benefits
    • Work with the Total Rewards team to support compensation and benefits administration in Workday.
    • Partner with the benefits team to facilitate a proper handoff.
  • HR Data & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS for India, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Learning & Development
    • Support the implementation of regional training programs and global learning initiatives, coordinating logistics and employee participation.

What you’ll have

  • Experience: 2-4 years of HR experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements in India.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Payroll processing and Exit process.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and levels.
    • Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with global HR tools.
  • Characteristics: Passion for design, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset..
