HR Assistant (Intern)
Role Summary
The HR Assistant (Intern) will support the Human Resources function across recruitment, onboarding, documentation, policy compliance, attendance tracking, and staff coordination.
This role is ideal for a fresher in HR or MBA (HR) candidate who wants hands-on exposure in a growing multi-centre music education organisation.
Urban Raga operates on structured policies, performance-based incentives, and disciplined operations. The HR Intern will play a key support role in maintaining professional standards and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities
1 Recruitment & Hiring Support
Assist in drafting job descriptions (Teachers, Admin, Operations)
Post jobs on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other portals
Screen resumes and shortlist candidates
Schedule interviews and coordinate follow-ups
Maintain recruitment tracker (Google Sheets / HR software)
2 Onboarding & Documentation
Prepare offer letters and internship letters
Collect KYC documents (Aadhar, PAN, Bank details)
Maintain employee personal files (digital & physical)
Issue appointment letters and policy annexures
Support probation tracking and confirmation process
3 Attendance & Leave Management
Maintain daily attendance records
Track leave applications and approvals
Coordinate with operations team for absence management
Ensure compliance with Urban Raga Leave Policy
4 Performance & KPI Support
Assist in maintaining teacher/student performance sheets
Support 100-point KPI scorecard documentation
Track student numbers linked to teacher incentives
Prepare monthly HR summary report
5 Policy & Compliance Support
Ensure all staff sign School Policy Annexure
Maintain confidentiality records
Support documentation related to termination or warning letters (if required)
Ensure adherence to professional conduct standards
6 Employee Engagement
Support in organising teacher meetings
Coordinate event participation records
Assist in birthday recognition / milestone communication
Help maintain a positive workplace culture
Eligibility Criteria
BBA / B.Com / MBA (HR) / Any HR Diploma
Freshers welcome
Strong organisational skills
Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
Good communication (English required)
High integrity and confidentiality awareness
