Job description for Associate - Housekeeping

As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment in the casino areas, including gaming floors, restrooms, hallways, and public areas. You will use various cleaning tools and chemicals, adhere to established cleanliness standards and safety procedures, and communicate effectively with casino staff and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining casino areas, including gaming floors, restrooms, hallways, and public areas
• Using cleaning tools and chemicals to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
• Following established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a consistent level of cleanliness
• Communicating with casino staff and guests to address any issues or concerns related to cleanliness and hygiene
• Assisting in maintaining stock of cleaning supplies and equipment in storage areas
• Following established safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Attending training sessions and meetings to learn about the casino's cleanliness and hygiene standards and best practices for maintaining them

Qualifications:

• Minimum SSC pass, diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry and move heavy weight
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

• The job may require exposure to cleaning chemicals and other materials used in the housekeeping department.
