Role Description

This is a remote job for a Home Textiles Designer, located in India. The Home Textiles Designer will be responsible for designing and creating innovative textile designs for home decor, including bedding, curtains, cushions, and other home textiles. The designer will work closely with the product development team to ensure that designs meet company standards and market trends. Daily tasks include sketching, developing fabric patterns, selecting color palettes, and creating digital and physical prototypes of designs. The designer will also collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to oversee the production process and ensure the quality of products.

Qualifications

• Experience in textile design, pattern making, and color theory
• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD
• Knowledge of fabric types, printing techniques, and production processes
• Creativity, innovation, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field
• Experience in the home textiles industry is a plus
