Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Department (HOD) Fine Arts. The HOD Fine Arts will oversee the Fine Arts department and shall perform the following key responsibilities/skills:

• Lead curriculum planning, pedagogy, and faculty development in Fine Arts.
• Teach senior-level Fine Arts, guide students art portfolios, and prepare them for board/university requirements.
• Organise art exhibitions, inter-school competitions, and cultural showcases.
• Proficiency in multiple mediums: painting, sketching, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, applied arts, and digital/media arts.
• Strong understanding of assessment standards for ICSE/ISC and Cambridge IGCSE/A Levels.
• Ability to guide students in building portfolios for top global universities.
• Familiarity with integrating art with technology (graphic design, digital illustration, multimedia).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Fine Arts or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Fine Arts teaching
• Strong skills in Art, Painting, and Fine Art
• Leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience in managing a department in an educational setting
