Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction, leadership, and academic oversight for the Computer Science department.
• Plan, implement, and review the Computer Science curriculum in alignment with CBSE guidelines.
• Foster a learning environment that promotes analytical thinking, problem-solving, and application of technology in real-life contexts.
• Design and deliver engaging, stimulating, and challenging lessons that cater to students with diverse learning abilities and styles.
• Encourage interdisciplinary learning and help students make meaningful connections between Computer Science and other disciplines.
• Stay updated with evolving curriculum frameworks, assessment practices, and emerging technologies.
• Guide and mentor department members, promoting collaboration and innovation.
• Strong familiarity with CBSE curriculum, examination patterns, and evaluation practices.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Trained with a post graduate degree in Computers/ IT/ Computer Applications from a recognized institution with a minimum 8 to 10 years of teaching experience teaching Computer Science across Classes IX to XII.
