Job Description

Job Title: Physician Intensivist

Employment Type: Full-time, In-house, Day Shifts

Work Structure:

  • On-site hospital role
  • 8-hour shifts
  • 24 working days per month

About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Physician Intensivists to join our partner hospitals across multiple locations in India. The ideal candidate will play a key role in providing hands-on leadership in the ICU, delivering high-quality critical care, and driving clinical excellence. As a Consultant Intensivist, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of critically ill patients, leading the ICU team, and contributing to the overall growth of clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership: Act as Consultant Physician Intensivist with admission privileges during your assigned shifts.
  • Patient Care: Provide end-to-end clinical management for critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • ICU Procedures: Perform and supervise various ICU procedures as per clinical protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the ICU team and collaborate with multidisciplinary consultants for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Patient and Family Counseling: Engage with patients and families, providing updates, emotional support, and counseling regarding patient condition and treatment plans.
  • Quality & Governance: Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and meetings to maintain high standards of care.
  • Academic & Training Contribution: Be involved in academic activities, including teaching and training of junior medical staff and contributing to the hospitals educational programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • DM / DrNB / FNB / IDCCM in Critical Care
  • MD / DNB in Internal Medicine
  • Experience: Proven experience in ICU management, including leadership roles in multidisciplinary settings. Prior experience in handling critical care cases, performing procedures, and providing intensive care.
