Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hiring Manager specializing in the recruitment and management of delivery executives at Nikkou Corporation Ltd. located in Chennai. The Hiring Manager will oversee the recruitment and hiring process for delivery staff, ensure service quality standards are met, provide ongoing training programs, and manage communication with both new hires and existing team members. The role demands strong organizational and leadership skills to maintain an efficient workforce and ensure the seamless operation of delivery services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute hiring of delivery associates as per daily, weekly, and monthly manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with DSPs, vendors, and internal operations teams for timely onboarding.
- Conduct interviews, document verification, and background checks as per company policy.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, onboarding documentation, and system entry.
- Monitor attrition, absenteeism, and productivity trends and take corrective hiring actions.
- Maintain a ready pipeline of delivery associates to avoid manpower shortages.
- Coordinate training schedules and ensure associates are trained before deployment.
- Track hiring metrics such as TAT, cost per hire, joining vs requirement, and attrition.
- Resolve hiring-related issues faced by delivery associates and vendors.
- Support operations during peak periods and special business requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of last-mile delivery operations and manpower planning.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle high-volume hiring under tight timelines.
- Basic knowledge of labor laws and compliance (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and hiring dashboards.
