Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and hands-on professional to join our team as a
Lead Content Technologies . In this role, you will lead a team working on multiple projects involving content ingestion, upload, authoring, and assessment services across various CMS/LMS platforms. You will be responsible for understanding project requirements, setting up and mentoring teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. As a proactive leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality learning solutions and driving client success.
Job Description
- Comprehend project requirements, product specifications, migration guidelines, and understand client requirements.
- Ensure efficient execution of development/production tasks within defined timelines.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and timelines effectively to stakeholders.
- Escalate scope deviations and propose solutions/workarounds.
- Set up, train, and mentor new team members; upskill team capabilities.
- Maintain high team morale and foster collaboration across multi-stakeholder environments.
- Provide training on web technologies, LMS standards, and best practices.
- Lead content/course build Canvas LMS and assessment creation on Learnosity; exposure to Blackboard, D2L, Moodle is an advantage.
- Collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, and clients to integrate content seamlessly.
- Create estimates for content conversion from storyboards into LMS/CMS or authoring tools.
- Ensure adherence to QA standards and content structure guidelines.
- Stay updated with advancements in EdTech, LMS/CMS, and e-learning standards (SCORM, IMS, LTI, etc.).
- Contribute to R&D, knowledge base, and process improvements.
- Leverage pre-sales opportunities and consult clients on LMS features and functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in any stream or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 46 years of experience in the EdTech/E-Learning domain , with at least 34 years in content ingestion/upload/authoring.
- Hands-on experience with Canvas LMS and Learnosity Assessment platform ; exposure to Blackboard, D2L, Moodle, Brightspot preferred.
- Experience with LMS administration and authoring tools (Articulate, Storyline, etc.).
- Basic project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with AI-powered learning tools .
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts such as natural language processing (NLP), personalization algorithms, or analytics for learner engagement.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of LTI, REST API, SCORM, AICC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, HTML, and CSS .
- Understanding of CMS/LMS/e-learning standards terminology.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Google Sheets, and collaborative project tools .
- Experience with web technologies: HTML & CSS (mandatory); Bootstrap & JavaScript (advantage).
- Familiarity with QA processes for LMS and Rapid Authoring-based developed courses.
- Ability to coordinate with vendor resources and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Should have an understanding of WCAG guidelines.
