Job Description:

Strategize and plan roadmaps for Kafka and similar messaging technologies in collaboration with product owners, technical leads, and customers.

Design and maintain architecture for Kafka-based platforms in line with central architecture governance functions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

Provide technical expertise in Kafka, advising technology teams on how to effectively use Kafka and other messaging technologies to solve business problems.

Assess new software projects and initiatives to determine how Kafka and event-driven technologies can be leveraged for optimal results.

Design, plan, and deliver sustainable solutions based on Kafka and event-driven architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Perform high-level root-cause analysis for service interruptions and outages involving event-driven technologies, working with the team to resolve issues quickly and implement preventive measures.

Develop incident recovery strategies and create preventive measures to minimize service disruptions caused by changes or incidents.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kafka with other platforms and ensure seamless operations in the overall architecture.

A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Kafka Admin/Architect. Messaging Technologies: Extensive hands-on production experience and deep understanding of Apache Kafka and Confluent Kafka.
