Role Summary

The Design Engineer (ELV/ICT) will be responsible for endtoend design delivery of ELV and ICT systems across diverse building and infrastructure projects such as airports, hospitals, metros, railways, stadiums, malls, hotels, convention centres, and commercial/IT buildings. The role includes preparing designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents for both tender and operating projects, while coordinating with site teams and vendors to ensure design compliance and successful T&C.

Desired Skills & Experience

• 510 years of ELV/ICT design experience.
• Certifications in IT Passive/Active (RCDD, Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/Arista) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ELV/ICT technical specifications, design calculations, and system analysis.
• Experience with simulation tools (EASE, EKAHAU, JVSG, IBWave) is an advantage.
• Understanding of network protocols, servers, storage, and system interfaces.
• Expertise in ICT passive cabling and active equipment design.
• Experience in designing ISP/Server/ELV/IT rooms.
• Ability to prepare interdisciplinary inputs (Electrical, HVAC, Fire, Architecture, Civil).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

General Responsibilities

• Deliver highquality ELV/ICT designs with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Support project delivery within timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, QMS, and project lifecycle processes.
• Provide regular updates to the line manager and participate in project meetings.
• Apply Indian and international standards relevant to ELV/ICT systems.
• Knowledge of data centre, telecom room, NOC, AODB, BHS server room design as per codes.

ICT Active & Passive, WiFi, Data Centre (ELV/ICT), Video Wall (Control Rooms).

IBMS, Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA).

Special/Airport Systems

FIDS, IPTV, EGate, Crash Alarm, DAS, TMR, MSI/Information Broker, VDGS, Information Display Systems, Master Clock System.
