HIL Testing Engineer

HiL Testing Engineer:

Test Execution:

• Perform HIL-based functional and integration testing for automotive ECUs (e.g., Powertrain, ADAS, Body Control).
• Execute automated and manual test cases on HIL benches.

Test Development:

• Assist in creating and maintaining test scripts using tools such as dSPACE , Vector CANoe , or NI VeriStand . Any one is mandatory.
• Support model-in-the-loop (MIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) test transitions to HIL.

System Setup & Maintenance:

• Configure HIL systems, including signal mapping, I/O configuration, and simulation models.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on HIL benches.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Collect and analyze test results; document defects and anomalies.
• Prepare test reports and communicate findings to development teams.

Compliance & Standards:

• Ensure adherence to automotive standards such as ISO 26262 , AUTOSAR , and OEM-specific guidelines.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with software developers, system engineers, and validation teams to resolve issues.

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of automotive ECUs and communication protocols (CAN , LIN, FlexRay).
• Familiarity with HIL platforms (dSPACE, NI, ETAS) and tools like CANoe, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Understanding of embedded systems and real-time simulation.

Experience: 3+ years in automotive testing
