Position Summary

We are looking for a Highway Design Engineer to support the planning, design, and development of highway and roadway projects. This role is ideal for engineers with 37 years of experience who are eager to build technical expertise in geometric design, pavement design, and traffic analysis as per IRC standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the geometric design of highways and roads
• Support the preparation of design drawings, layouts, and design calculations
• Coordinate with CAD teams for preparation of:
• Plan & Profile drawings
• Cross-sections
• Junction layouts
• Review and interpret survey data (DGPS, Total Station, etc.)
• Assist in traffic data analysis and projections
• Support pavement design as per IRC guidelines
• Prepare technical reports, design notes, and documentation
• Learn and apply relevant IRC / MoRTH standards and design codes
• Participate in internal design reviews and project meetings
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for project deliverables

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Masters in Transportation / Highway Engineering (Added Advantage)
• 3 to 7 Years of relevant experience in highway/road design
• Freshers with strong academic knowledge may also be considered
• Basic understanding of highway engineering principles
• Familiarity with design standards (IRC Codes)
• Working knowledge (preferred but not mandatory): AutoCAD, CIVIL 3D; MXRoad/OpenRoads/Similar software
• Willingness to learn and grow in the design domain
• Good communication skills
• Teamwork and coordination ability
• Attention to detail
