Job Description
We are looking for aGerman-speaking Help Desk Support Specialistto provide first-level technical support to global customers. The role involves supporting users inGerman and English, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to service management standards and SLAs.
- Provide Level 1 support via phone, email, remote access, or onsite assistance.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
- MS Office applications
- Windows & Mac operating systems
- Desktop applications (Anti-Virus, MS Project, Acrobat Reader, browsers, etc.)
- Perform basic troubleshooting of PC and network environments.
- Log, tag, track, resolve, and close tickets within SLA timelines.
- Escalate incidents following defined processes.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure and Application teams to meet service commitments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Follow defined SOPs and Information Security policies.
- Ensure timely ticket closure.
- Monitor daily service deliverables.
- Prepare and submit required reports.
- Support 24x7 operations through flexible shift scheduling.
- Ensure smooth and accurate handover between shifts.
- Continuously expand IT and business process knowledge.
- Stay updated on system changes, issues, and new technologies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Help Desk or technical support.
- Experience in problem tracking, phone/email support, and customer handling.
- Exposure to application setup, configuration, and network environments is an advantage.
- Fluent inGerman and English(spoken and written).
- Thai or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
- Proficient in Windows-based systems.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Windows OS, and SQL databases.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organized with strong prioritization abilities.
- Team player with attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Professional, resourceful, and self-motivated.
- 24x7 shift-based environment.
- Flexibility required; workload may vary depending on operational needs.
