Help Desk Support Specialist German Speaker


We are looking for aGerman-speaking Help Desk Support Specialistto provide first-level technical support to global customers. The role involves supporting users inGerman and English, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while adhering to service management standards and SLAs.



Key Responsibilities


Technical Support
  • Provide Level 1 support via phone, email, remote access, or onsite assistance.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
  • MS Office applications
  • Windows & Mac operating systems
  • Desktop applications (Anti-Virus, MS Project, Acrobat Reader, browsers, etc.)
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of PC and network environments.
  • Log, tag, track, resolve, and close tickets within SLA timelines.
  • Escalate incidents following defined processes.
  • Coordinate with Infrastructure and Application teams to meet service commitments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
  • Follow defined SOPs and Information Security policies.


Administrative Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely ticket closure.
  • Monitor daily service deliverables.
  • Prepare and submit required reports.


Team Collaboration
  • Support 24x7 operations through flexible shift scheduling.
  • Ensure smooth and accurate handover between shifts.


Learning & Development
  • Continuously expand IT and business process knowledge.
  • Stay updated on system changes, issues, and new technologies.


Requirements


Education
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.


Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in IT Help Desk or technical support.
  • Experience in problem tracking, phone/email support, and customer handling.
  • Exposure to application setup, configuration, and network environments is an advantage.


Language Skills
  • Fluent inGerman and English(spoken and written).
  • Thai or Portuguese language skills are a plus.


Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Windows-based systems.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Windows OS, and SQL databases.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.


Soft Skills
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organized with strong prioritization abilities.
  • Team player with attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Professional, resourceful, and self-motivated.


Work Schedule
  • 24x7 shift-based environment.
  • Flexibility required; workload may vary depending on operational needs.
