Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, hybrid role based in Mumbai .
As a Health Insurance Agency Sales Manager , you will be responsible for building and scaling an agency-led sales channel for health and group insurance products. You will recruit and manage licensed agents, drive sales performance, and ensure smooth execution across onboarding, policy issuance, and renewals.
This role is ideal for someone who understands insurance distribution and wants to work in a fast-moving Insurtech environment rather than a traditional insurer setup.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, onboard, and manage IRDAI-licensed insurance agents
- Train agents on Flashaids Insurtech products, tools, and sales processes
- Drive health and group insurance sales through the agency channel
- Support agents on deal closures, negotiations, and client discussions
- Build strong relationships with SME and startup clients
- Ensure smooth coordination for policy issuance, onboarding, and renewals
- Work closely with internal ops, tech, and insurer partners
- Track agent performance, pipelines, and targets using CRM tools
- Maintain high standards of customer experience and follow-ups
- Experience in health insurance sales / agency management
- Strong understanding of insurance distribution and sales cycles
- Ability to recruit, lead, and motivate agency teams
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Comfort with digital tools, CRMs, and tech-enabled sales processes
- Knowledge of the Mumbai insurance market is a strong advantage
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Active IRDAI license preferred (mandatory for hands-on selling roles)
