What this job involves:
We are seeking an experienced & qualified HSSE Executive to join our team. The HSE Executive will be responsible for conducting safety training, and supporting with the teams on company’s HSE management system and country specific regulation. The ability to work independently, partner with the teams, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively are also essential.
Responsibilities Specific to the Role
- Conducting the HSE trainings along with HSE team and maintaining the Training tracker to monitor the training compliance.
- Weekly/ Monthly Inspection the stock/ healthiness of the Emergency arrangements such as First aid box, AED, Wheelchair, Stretcher, Evacuation Chair etc., Reporting the gaps identified in the inspection to the Site HSE Lead/ AM.
- Inspecting the Work at height equipment like ladder and desk surfer to ensure its healthiness.
- Maintaining the records of HSE Onboarding and Adhoc vendor induction records and tracker. Sharing the status to Site HSE Lead.
- Carryout the routine safety walk to ensure the site HSE arrangements in place.
- Learning From Incident sharing to support staff as an awareness session by coordinating with HSE team.
- Report the site unsafe condition/ unsafe act/ near miss to the Site HSE Lead and operation team.
- Ensure the control measures captured in the PTW are implemented while execution of the activity through routine monitoring.
- Incident reports across the site(s) and to discuss any investigations required with the HSE / Operation team.
- Obtain and maintain the First aid items stock list and share the list to the Site HSE Lead.
- Deliver duties to manage the building (or areas defined in a lease agreement).
- Verifying the closure of HSE observation points in required cases.
- Monitoring the control measures are implemented as per Risk Assessment/ SOPs.
- Supporting in maintaining the documents/ evidence as per the client HSE audit requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in the engineering or HSE education field.
- 1-5 years of experience working for HSE or project management or corporate clients.
- Working knowledge of progressive HSE principles including human factors, industrial psychology as applied to HSE, behavioural safety management principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English. Additional advantage if fluent in Tamil & Hindi
