We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Operations to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our wearables operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Role Description

• The Head of Operations is responsible for leading the operations Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain, Product Quality and Make in India initiatives functions of Smart Wearables, to ensure operational and business excellence.
• The Head of Operations will report to the Business Head Smart-Wearables. The Head of Operations will structurally be part of the Smart-Wearables Leadership Team.
• The Head of Operations will provide strategic leadership and has overall responsibility to develop, and implement strategies for supply chain, Product Quality, and execution in line with Divisional goals. Such strategies shall ensure successful product approvals/changes, according to Divisional timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Supply chain, vendor management and procurement
• Responsible for Operations planning and inventory management, working closely with M&D, Sales and Product Development functions.
• Compliance to both company policies, industry best practices and regulatory requirements in the Smart Wearables space today, and other areas that may come up from time to time.
• Meeting the desired Product quality requirements, aligning the vendor ecosystem to comply with Titan Quality standards, compliance under the auspice of the Quality Management System, ISO 9001 & TVQMS in terms of efficiency and fit with the organizational requirements.
• Preparing and managing external and internal audits for suppliers and vendors.
• Inventory management, aging and ensuring supply availability to meet the sales requirements.
• Developing and maintaining the MIS for the Smart watches' functions, including the analytics and Dashboards etc.
• Developing and nurturing the MII vendors, both ongoing and new, and ensuring operational success to meet the delivery needs of the Business. Identifying other opportunities through ASEAN trade plans and developing new supply chain opportunities, in particular, in Vietnam.
• Cost management of Product development, ensuring and meeting the desired NC-NSR, AGC requirements in line with the operating plans.

Work Experience

• The candidate will be an experienced professional (>15 years) with substantial expertise in operations in a world class consumer devices/FCMG/electronics organizations.
• Experience in working with global OEM/ODM/CMS partners in China, EU and US.
• Experience with Smart watches, Smart devices, Smart wearables a big plus.
• Experience in organizing and managing quality within a scale-up organization
• Will be able to lead the Operations team from both a conceptual and operational (hands-on) perspective
• The candidate will have the seniority and emotional intelligence to lead a team of experienced staff (ideally significant managerial experience in leading teams)
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written fluency in English is essential)
• Location: Bangalore while closely with the Hyderabad team, our international partners in China, EU and US.
