Job Responsibilities:


Brand guidelines Extend, Execute, Govern:

  • Extend the Motherbrand brand identity guidelines to various touchpoints by creating templates, assets and references.
  • Provide guidance and support to agencies operating at corporate and BU levels, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and implementation of new brand guidelines across diverse touchpoints.
  • Work closely with in-house print consultant to ensure quality output and consistency across substrates and collaterals as per brand guidelines across India.
  • Overall governance of brand identity implementation with internal teams and agency partners
  • Review all the creative rolled out by BUs and their agencies to ensure compliance with new brand guidelines and consistent visual presentation across various media.
  • Conduct regular audits of collateral outputs across GEG businesses for consistency in quality and output.
  • Constantly refresh and maintain the guidelines as a live document with easy access to all standard assets and roll out updates as and when needed.
  • Release updated versions of the brand guidelines periodically and conduct training to relevant stakeholders.


BU/Corp. Function Support:

  • Conceptualize and execute impactful visual communication highlighting achievements and offerings as per the objective and target audience across various marketing collaterals, including advertisements, newsletters, emailers, presentation templates, brochures, and coffee-table books, targeting relevant audiences for both Business Units and the corporate sector.
  • Guide & execute CSR, internal campus and other GEG initiatives branding aligning to GEG new brand tonality
  • Collaborate with marketing teams across all Business Units to standardize templates for social media posts in accordance with the brand guidelines
  • ATL campaigns Work with the BU marketing teams for product selection, styling, art, photography.

Events & Exhibitions

  • Work closely with BUs to ideate, conceptualize, and create spatial designs, along with an effective visual communication language for stalls.
  • Direct and oversee the production agency to ensure optimal execution and timely delivery.
  • Design all collaterals required for the exhibition including digital/social and video assets for maximum reach.
  • Attend exhibitions for competitive benchmarking and to draw inspiration.
  • Conceptualize with B&M team to standardize the exhibition template creating guidelines that align with the new G&B brand positioning in terms of communication, visual language, and execution

Packaging

  • Review existing packaging and product branding in the light of the new guidelines and suggest a comprehensive system for harmonising the same
  • Take up product branding / packaging projects with BUs to redesign the packaging / change product branding in line with the new guidelines and work closely with design agencies or internal team to deliver the same.


Internal / Corp. Communication / Other GEG initiatives:


  • Support the team in visual communication, encompassing static content emailer, campaigns, events/initiatives, photos, videos, for regular internal communication and special initiatives
  • Work with agency partner(s) to develop and design templates for internal communication as per the new brand guidelines and current market trends.
  • Develop the visual communication identity for internal events such as the Grace event and Diwali Dussera, creating all collaterals including print, outdoor, video, and event banners. Provide support and coordination for the final execution with the team.
  • Support corporate and other teams in conceptualizing, designing, and executing initiatives such as DigiNxt, XR events, and Catapult etc.
  • Sustainability Report - Establish the look and feel for the report in accordance with industry standards, create the template, and assist/guide the agency in its implementation.
  • Ensure the timely delivery and outcome across all touchpoints/ different mediums print, digital, video


Special Projects:

Imagery

  • Create a bank of images across the various product lines (B2B and B2C), usage scenarios (Traditional media, E-Comm, social media, Performance marketing) using a combination of photoshoots, renders, AI keeping in mind scale, cost, and consistent quality. This includes E-Comm limbos, ambients and lifestyle (with people) images.
  • Deliver at least one large scale photoshoot for B2B and B2C creating an asset bank of 50+ images for B2B and 100+ images for B2C, in one financial year

Ecommerce (Corporate and D2C)

  • Create visual content at scale in line with the guidelines for Ecommerce CLP, PLP, PDP, campaign landing pages, A+ content etc.
  • Work with the Ecomm team on the crops, selection and layout of these images in the context of the wireframes.
  • Periodically refresh the look and feel of the website through imagery and work with the content team to drive the refresh cycle.

Digital/IT

  • Work closely with B&M team and Digital team during the implementation of the Digital Asset Management System for organising all assets. Help in developing and implementing a system of tagging, metadata and governance guidelines of the system. Act as superuser/admin for this system.
  • Work closely with B&M team and Digital team during the implementation of the Digital Design System for creation of a unified digital design system for all apps and portals.


Team and Partners ecosystem:

  • Partner with the right agencies to create a support system for creation of content, collaterals, images etc. (design agencies, production houses, creative freelancers, CGI studios etc.)
  • Act as the single point of contact for all dealings with these agencies including briefs, deliverables, commercials etc.
  • Lead and develop a team of junior/mid-level designers to execute deliverables and take up independent responsibilities.
  • Strategically allocate responsibilities between team and external agencies to manage all deliverables at scale.


Required Education: Graduate and post graduate degree in Fine Arts/ Visual Design/ Visual Communication/ Graphic Design from a reputed institute (s)


Required Experience: 15 years of design work experience with a minimum of 8 years in visual design

Preferred Experience: 15-18 years of work experience in design across platforms (print, digital).

  8. Ability to build information architectures / design systems rather than standalone creatives. Adopt a holistic approach to design.
  9. Thorough understanding of the latest standards, trends in visual and graphic design.
  10. Track Record of strong execution for long gestation, complex projects
  11. Excellence and hands on experience with Adobe Creative suite print, video, motion design
  12. Knowledge or experience with AI tools
  13. Proficient in i-Movie and other basic video editing tools
  14. Experienced in executing both print and digital assets
  15. Deep curiosity and understanding of production systems.
  16. Experienced in designing brand communication across multiple touchpoints and media including integrated marketing campaigns, websites, mailers, social media collaterals, editorial layouts and other brand assets.
  17. A design thinker well versed in design processes.
