Job Description

Experience: 15 to 20 years

Qualification: BE / B. Tech / M.Sc. / M. Tech - Chemistry


NPDs (Product validation) and Benchmarking:


  1. Stay well informed with all NPD initiatives of the R&D / coordinate and witness all inhouse Mockup trials with R&D & application team.
  2. Visit identified customers for conducting product specific trials.
  3. Lead all new Products field trials at customer site, during Product under Launch (PUL) stage to convert to business.
  4. Do complete validation & application study of cost engineered products with S&M team
  5. To conduct existing products trials at new customer sites for horizontal replication of the business.
  6. Document all joint trial reports and visit Reports and interact with R&D product developers with technical facts and figures
  7. Undertakes testing, evaluation of products vis.a.vis customers need and recommend the right product and/or products system; conduct comparative field trials for the recommended existing product.
  8. Manage all technical complaints pertaining to product trials as SPOC with support of plant operations team / Quality department and R&D department and ensure timely closure of the same.


Technical Documentation:


  1. Responsible for drafting, revision and coordinating online updation of of product technical data sheets on official website.
  2. Coordinations with technical teams for preparing compliance certificates and training modules,
  3. Review all the test standards, test certifications and Quality benchmarking of the products
  4. Create technical trials and field observations data base at R&D
  5. Supports identification, procurement, technical validation of products sourcing for p2p.


Technical Training to applicators / customers / distributors:


  1. Undertakes training module preparation, Plan products training and demonstration programs for relevant field & Sales and stakeholders for existing as well as new products.


Market Intelligence & Customer Connect:


  1. Develop Market insight for core business ; upcoming application areas and performance expectations ;
  2. Understand country specific and global regulatory scenario
  3. Identifying treats from competitors / New competitors entry
  4. Do Competitor product landscaping
  5. Carry out Quality and cost benchmarking vis.a.vis competitors' products
  6. Undertake structured, periodic program for benchmarking and competition products evaluation for key products to derive optimum cost-performance
