Head of Tax

Head Tax, Treasury & Insurance | Bangalore

We are hiring a Head Tax, Treasury & Insurance for a leading manufacturing organization backed by a global private equity firm. This leadership role will be responsible for managing the companys tax strategy, treasury operations, banking relationships, and insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Direct & Indirect Tax compliance, planning, litigation management, and interaction with tax authorities.
• Drive tax optimization strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including negotiation of loan facilities and interest terms.
• Monitor and manage term loans and working capital limits.
• Oversee corporate insurance programs, policy renewals, and claims management.
• Support leadership in financial risk management and capital structure optimization.

Candidate Profile:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory; LLB is an added advantage.
• 1317+ years of experience in tax and treasury functions within manufacturing organizations.
• Strong experience in Direct Tax, GST / Indirect Tax, treasury operations, banking, and working capital management.
• Proven experience managing tax assessments, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and external advisors.
