Role Purpose

The Head of Study Abroad is responsible for end-to-end execution and growth of the Study Abroad vertical, covering high school tours, high school study abroad, and bachelors and masters study abroad programs. This is an operations-led leadership role focused on delivery, volume, conversion, and vertical growth, not a counseling-only or marketing-only position.

Key Responsibilities

Own the full application-to-departure lifecycle for all study abroad programs

Be responsible for growth of the Study Abroad vertical in volumes, conversions, and revenue contribution

Plan and execute quarterly and annual growth targets across all programs

Ensure documentation accuracy, timeline adherence, and smooth delivery

Build and enforce SOPs for applications, payments, visa documentation, and parent communication

Drive application-to-payment conversion and actively control drop-offs

Work closely with sales and marketing teams to convert leads into paid enrollments

Lead and manage counselors, case officers, and operations coordinators

Set daily and weekly productivity benchmarks and enforce follow-up discipline

Handle parent escalations, school coordination, and institutional communication

Maintain real-time trackers for leads, applications, payments, and visa status

Submit weekly performance dashboards and proactively flag risks and bottlenecks
