Head of Sponge Iron Unit

Role Description

The Head of Sponge Iron Unit will oversee daily operations, manage production processes, and work towards efficiency improvements within the sponge iron unit. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, supervising production teams, managing logistics, and optimizing resources to meet operational targets. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur requiring a hands-on approach to develop and execute strategies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in manufacturing operations, including throughput improvement, downtime reduction, and quality assurance.
• Strong leadership skills in organizational development, including manpower planning, KRA/KPI management, and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Demonstrated ability in cost control initiatives, encompassing manufacturing cost reduction and manpower cost management.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective communication and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.

Must be a BTech

Must have at least 15 years experience in Sponge Iron Plant
