Amazon MX Player has also won multiple national and international awards for its innovative social media marketing including the prestigous Clio Entertainment Awards, Drum APAC Awards and Webbys!
We’re looking for a seasoned Social Media Marketing leader to shape and scale the next phase of our journey.
From strategy to execution, this person will lead the strategy on how we market our shows, our service and also drive monetization through social.
You will collaborate closely with content, growth and content launch teams.
This role also involves leading and mentoring a high
- performing social media marketing team.
It requires a deep understanding of the digital landscape and evolving customer behavior on social.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead and execute social media strategy for Amazon MX Player
- Lead a high performing social media team
- Craft award winning marketing campaigns to create buzz among relevant customers
- Unlock brand partnerships to extend beyond own handles social footprint
- Build extensive relationships with agencies, industry to unlock newer collaboration avenues and garner customer love
A day in the life
A day in the life could start with leading a tentpole show marketing campaign, seamlessly blending into developing a new topical campaign strategy for the brand.
You will work with external large platforms wherever customers are active on, to create partnerships and collaborations.
You will work on award winning social campaigns that bring laurels for the brand.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional non
- internship marketing experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross
- functional teams
- Experience in entertainment marketing
- Experience in large
- scale social media campaigns
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- Experience in e
- commerce, digital products or entertainment industries
- Passion for blending entertainment to become one with pop culture and of every day life of customers
- Ability to leverage social media trends across channels to craft bespoke strategy
