Job Description
PURPOSE
To provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of security across a multi-location hospitality and lifestyle portfolio, ensuring the safety of members, guests, employees, and assets. The role is responsible for strengthening security governance, risk management, crisis preparedness, and statutory compliance while maintaining discreet, proactive, and service-oriented security operations aligned with luxury brand standards.

Reports to: CEO - Hospitality
Reporting Roles:
AGM, Senior Manager, Manager Security, Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager Security, Supervisors and Security Teams
Interacts with:
External: Police Authorities, Intelligence Agencies, Government Bodies, Emergency Services, Security Vendors, Service Providers, Auditors
Internal: Senior Leadership, Unit Heads, Operations, Engineering, HR, Finance, Legal, Projects, F&B, Contractual Workforce
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Operational Excellence
Oversee end-to-end security operations across multiple clubs and hospitality assets, ensuring consistent standards of safety, vigilance, and guest experience.
Guide and support unit-level security leaders in achieving operational readiness, compliance, and service excellence.
Establish and strengthen SOPs, post orders, access control protocols, and security performance dashboards.
Conduct regular security reviews, audits, and site inspections to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Applied Learning
Lead threat perception, risk assessment, and vulnerability analysis across assets.
Design and implement emergency response plans, crisis management frameworks, and evacuation protocols.
Oversee mock drills, tabletop exercises, and penetration testing to enhance preparedness.
Leverage incident trends, intelligence inputs, and best practices to continuously upgrade security systems and processes.
People Management
Lead and develop multi-layered security teams across locations, ensuring capability building and leadership depth.
Build high-performance cultures through structured training, discipline, accountability, and succession planning.
Manage large security teams including outsourced manpower, ensuring alignment with brand and compliance standards.
Business & Financial Acumen
Oversee security-related budgets including manpower, contracts, technology, and equipment.
Ensure optimal utilization of CAPEX and OPEX while maintaining premium security standards.
Partner with Finance and Procurement on budgeting, forecasting, vendor governance, and cost optimisation.
Review and recommend investments in CCTV, access control, alarms, and security infrastructure.
Leadership
Act as a senior security advisor to business leaders and unit heads on risk, compliance, and crisis matters.
Provide leadership during critical incidents, investigations, VIP movements, and emergency situations.
Drive collaboration across operations, engineering, HR, and external agencies for integrated security outcomes.
Handle escalations, sensitive issues, and governance matters with discretion, professionalism, and authority.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to statutory security requirements, licenses, and regulatory norms across locations.
Oversee audits, documentation, certifications, and investigation records.
Implement robust risk management, loss prevention, and asset protection practices.
Uphold ethical conduct, confidentiality, and brand integrity across all security operations.
Occupational Health & Safety Responsibilities
Ensure safe and secure environments for members, guests, employees, and partners.
Integrate OH&S standards into security operations and emergency preparedness plans.
Review incidents and accidents to ensure root cause analysis and preventive action.
Promote a strong culture of safety, vigilance, ethics, and preventive risk management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / HIRING PROFILE
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree with relevant professional experience
Advanced certifications in Security Management, Risk Management, or Crisis Leadership preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
1520 years of progressive experience in corporate security, hospitality security, law enforcement, or armed forces
Minimum 57 years in senior leadership roles managing multi-location security operations and large teams
