Role Overview
Medius is seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Sales to lead enterprise business development across Banks, NBFCs, Fintechs, and institutional clients. The role requires strong leadership capability, deep understanding of the lending ecosystem, and a proven ability to drive revenue through consultative, solution-led selling. The individual will be responsible for building a predictable sales pipeline, strengthening key client relationships, and positioning Medius as a trusted partner for collections, legal recovery, and communication solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with organisational growth targets and market positioning.
- Drive new client acquisition across Banks, NBFCs, Fintech lenders, and institutional partners through structured enterprise sales efforts.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles including opportunity identification, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships with Collection Heads, Risk Heads, Operations Leaders, and CXO-level decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities for cross-sell, upsell, and long-term account expansion across Medius service offerings.
- Work closely with operations, legal, and leadership teams to ensure client commitments are commercially viable and operationally scalable.
- Establish structured governance around pipeline tracking, forecasting, MIS reporting, and revenue planning.
- Represent Medius in industry meetings, conferences, and strategic networking forums to enhance market visibility.
Enterprise Sales & Market Expertise
The role requires strong familiarity with the retail lending ecosystem and experience selling services or solutions linked to portfolios such as Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Business Loans, Vehicle Loans, and secured lending products. The candidate should be comfortable navigating long enterprise sales cycles, complex stakeholder environments, and performance-driven commercial discussions.
Leadership & Team Management
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing enterprise sales team.
- Define account strategies, target segments, and structured outreach plans.
- Drive a consultative selling culture focused on long-term partnerships rather than transactional wins.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales commitments with delivery capabilities.
Experience & Qualification Requirements
- 1218 years of experience in enterprise or institutional sales within Banks, NBFCs, Fintechs, collection agencies, legal services, or enterprise SaaS serving the financial services sector.
- Demonstrated success in closing large-value deals and managing strategic client relationships.
- Strong industry network within the lending ecosystem is highly preferred.
- Experience selling complex, service-driven solutions rather than commoditised products will be an advantage.
