Sales Head IT Hardware & Infrastructure
Location: Bangalore (On-site)
Experience: 1215 years in IT Hardware / Infrastructure Sales
Reporting to: VP Marketing & Sales
Compensation: Competitive Fixed + Performance-Linked (1824 LPA OTE Range)

We are focused on building a predictable, margin-protected, and scalable hardware revenue engine, not opportunistic or discount-driven transactions.
Role Purpose
The Sales Head IT Hardware is responsible for building, owning, and scaling Danushs hardware-led revenue and gross profit engine, while also contributing directly through hands-on selling of strategic deals.
- This is a working Sales Head role combining:
- Individual revenue contribution
- Margin governance
- Team leadership
- OEM & fulfilment alignment
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Hardware Deal Ownership
- Personally originate, pursue, and close high-value server, networking, and infrastructure deals
- Manage OEM pricing, deal registration, and distributor coordination
- Own deals from qualified opportunity through order closure
Revenue & Gross Margin Ownership
- Own total hardware revenue and gross margin targets
- Enforce pricing discipline and discount governance
- Maintain strong pipeline health and forecast accuracy
OEM & Commercial Governance
- Validate OEM availability and lead times before commitments
- Prevent mis-selling and margin erosion
- Ensure clean sales-to-operations handover
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop BDM Products
- Build disciplined, margin-aware hardware selling capability
- Improve predictability and repeatability of product revenue
What This Role Is NOT
- Not a SaaS or software subscription sales role
- Not a pure volume or discount-led hardware trading role
- Not a delivery or operations management role
- Not a corporate enterprise VP-level leadership position
This is a hands-on, accountable leadership role in a growing mid-sized system integration company.
- You Should Apply Only If You Have
- 1215 years in IT Hardware / Infrastructure / OEM-led sales
- Experience selling servers, networking, storage, enterprise hardware
- OEM exposure (Dell / HP / Lenovo / Cisco / Fortinet / similar)
- Experience with distributor coordination and deal registration
- Ownership of revenue AND gross margin
- Experience leading hardware-focused sales teams
