Job Description

Hiring: Sales Head - General Trade (West)


Location: Mumbai


Region: Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, Chhattisgarh & Goa


We are hiring a seasoned Sales Head - General Trade (West) for one of India's fastest-growing, debt-free, and highly respected home-grown FMCG food brands, with a strong legacy in spices and packaged foods and ambitious expansion plans.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead sales growth, market share, and profitability across the West region


  • Drive distribution expansion across urban, semi-urban, and rural markets


  • Build and lead a high-performing regional GT sales team


  • Strengthen distributor & key retailer relationships


  • Own regional P&L, pricing inputs, market intelligence, and competitor strategy


  • Collaborate closely with promoters while bringing process and execution discipline


Candidate Profile:


  • 20-25 years of FMCG (Food) sales experience


  • Minimum 5 years heading Regional P&L - General Trade


  • Strong exposure to Maharashtra market is MANDATORY


  • Experience in Spices / Food / Condiments / Packaged Foods preferred


  • Proven strength in distributor management, retail activation & team leadership

  • Candidates without extensive Maharashtra market experience WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
