Function / Department : Project Management Office CDMO Business

Position Title / Role : Lead - PMO

Qualification & Experience: B. Tech or M.Sc. or M. Pharmacy with MBA/PGD and Preferable PMP Certification and 18 to 25 years

Unit / Location: Genome Valley, Shameerpet, Hyderabad

Division : Pharma SGI

Preferred Industry : Biotech/Biopharma


Main purpose of the Job:

To support the COO and facilitate state of art project management skills and experience for successful development and commercialization of new & technology transfer products in Pharma & Biologics CDMO business.


Job responsibilities:

Develop end to end project plan, budget (Opex. & Capex.) and risk management plan with key deliverables and milestones.

Clearly identifies and develops roles for project team members and helps individual contributors to be successful in these roles

Tracks project progress against schedule, budget and quality milestones as well as reports to senior management and partners.

Proactively identifies issues and / or obstacles, working with subject matter experts to develop resolutions and / or contingencies to guide the project to a successful outcome.

Manage project related documentation, cross-functional communication and coordination of action items. Generate, collect, distribute, archive and retrieves project communications

Should have excellent people coordinating skills, and work closely with leadership team of R&D, mfg. sciences, QA, QC, SCM, RA, Projects Engineering and other relevant internal stakeholders to aid the delivery of project in Time, Quality and Cost. The candidate requires good working knowledge of Project Management, Product development phases and an overall understanding of regulatory framework required for Vaccines.

Apply Project management best practices, tools and techniques to increase efficiency and consistency of project team processes and deliverables.

Facilitate and identify critical project risks to timeline and work with the team to create mitigation plans. Support escalation to senior management as necessary

Assist in the management of key vendors/CROs/CDMOs; including legal and financial commitments (contracting, PO process, vendor budget tracking and payment)

Resolve potential issues with support from cross functional teams and ensure successful project delivery.

Closely working with COO along with respective department heads to achieve business / growth objectives.


Candidate desired skills:

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with proficiency in English (verbal and written).

Proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail

Adaptability / comfort in coordination / interaction with internal and external customers.

Adequate knowledge on project management tools and techniques

Proficient in project management tools like MS Projects and other computer software like MS Excel, Word, Visio and Power point

Experience in Project planning resource planning, timelines and budgets

Experience in working with cross functional teams.
