Job Title: Head of Programme (International Curriculum)
Location: Sector 70A, Gurgaon, India
We are seeking a Head of Programme to provide academic leadership and operational management for our IBDP, IGCSE, and Cambridge curricula at Kunskapsskolan International School. This role requires a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in IB curriculum and IGCSE for implementation, academic administration, and a strong commitment to fostering a holistic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Excellence:
- Oversee the effective implementation of the IB and Cambridge curriculum, ensuring alignment with standards and best practices.
- Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Staff Development and Management:
- Recruit, develop, and retain qualified and motivated teaching and administrative staff.
- Provide professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and ensure adherence to IB & Cambridge program requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, faculty, and the broader community.
- Collaborate with the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and other stakeholders to enhance the overall school experience.
Financial and Operational Management:
- Manage the financial and operational aspects of the school, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation.
- Implement and oversee policies and procedures to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local educational regulations and IB organization requirements.
- Work closely with relevant authorities to stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the school.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Implement effective assessment and evaluation strategies to monitor student progress and ensure academic achievement.
- Use data-driven insights to inform instructional practices and school improvement initiatives.
Community Outreach:
- Represent the school in the local community and establish partnerships with external organizations to enhance the school's reputation and offerings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Masters degree in Education or a relevant subject.
- IB teaching and leadership experience (minimum 57 years preferred).
- IB Programme Coordinator or leadership training certification.
- Strong knowledge of IB curriculum frameworks and assessment practices.
- Experience in an IB World School in India or internationally.
- Experience leading IB authorization or evaluation processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strategic planning and organizational skills
- Ability to inspire and mentor educators
- IB training (Category 1, 2, or 3 workshops)
