Given L&Ts capability in strategic electronics and leveraging its foray into semiconductor design and well-established capabilities in L&T Technology Services, the business is expanding its offerings to cover industrial electronic modules, products and systems in critical sectors of Power Electronics, Automotive Electronics, Industrial Robotics & Automation, Communication Platforms and Electronic Systems Design & Manufacturing (ESDM). The focus products under Automotive Electronics are ADAS, Electrification & Connectivity related products.

We are seeking a visionary and technically strong Product Leader for ADAS to define, drive, and deliver our next-generation driver assistance and safety features. This role will bridge technology, product strategy, and business objectives to bring innovative, scalable, and safety-critical ADAS solutions to market India and further to global.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and own the product strategy and technology roadmap for fulfilling the ADAS features (e.g. adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, collision avoidance, automated parking etc.) for India and global.
• Stay ahead of developments in sensors (camera, radar etc.), perception, sensor fusion and automated driving algorithms.
• Analyze market trends, regulatory requirements (AIS, NCAP, ISO 26262, UNECE), and competitive products to guide feature prioritization.
• Contribute to technology partnerships and innovation scouting.

Execution & Delivery

• Translate user needs, customer/regulatroty/safety requirements into clear product goals and technology roadmaps & specifications.
• Lead cross-functional teams (software, systems, hardware, validation) through the product lifecycle - from concept to SOP (Start of Production).
• Prioritize features, manage trade-offs between performance, cost, and schedule.
• Manage product lifecycle from concept through production and post-launch updates.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with regulatory authorities, other tier1 stakeholders and internal stakeholders to align product goals and technology roadmaps.
• Be the primary product interface to OEM customers - gather requirements, define specifications, and drive joint development programs.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to support RFQ (Request for Quotation) responses and define optimal product configurations.
• Translate OEM requirements into clear internal product specifications and technical deliverables.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and program management to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
• Present progress and outcomes to executive leadership and external partners.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and standards bodies.

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics or Computer Science Engineering.
• MBA or certification in Product Management is an advantage.

Experience & Required Skills:

• 12+ years of experience in automotive product management, with 3+ years in ADAS or autonomous driving systems.
• Proven track record of launching ADAS features or related software platforms.
• Strong understanding of automotive ADAS system & software including tunkey development (AI/ML perception models, sensor fusion, embedded systems, functional safety, cyber secuity, NCAP, regulations etc.).
• Technical depth in sensing, perception, or control systems.
• Familiarity with ASPICE, AUTOSAR, and model-based development (MBSE).
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Ability to balance technical depth with business priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
