HR at Haris & Co. is not an admin function.

It is a business-critical leadership role .


Experience Expectation
  • Must have hands-on experience managing 500600+ employees
  • Must have led and scaled HR teams , not worked solo
  • Comfortable managing ambiguity, pressure, and leadership conflicts


Core Ownership Areas 1. Workforce Planning & Org Design
  • Design org structures aligned with:
  • Revenue targets
  • Departmental capacity
  • Growth plans
  • Prevent role overlap, over-hiring, and hierarchy confusion
  • Plan manpower quarterly and annually , not ad-hoc


2. Hiring Systems at Scale
  • Build scalable hiring engines
  • Ensure hiring quality, speed, and cultural fit
  • Reduce early attrition through better screening


3. Performance Management & Accountability
  • Own KRAs, KPIs, and review systems
  • Drive differentiation between:
  • High performers
  • Average performers
  • Non-performers
  • Enable tough but fair performance conversations


4. Leadership Development & Second Line
  • Identify high-potential talent
  • Build future managers and business heads
  • Reduce founder dependency


5. Culture, Values & Behaviour
  • Protect culture during scale
  • Actively address:
  • Toxic leadership
  • Ego issues
  • Politics
  • Ensure values are practiced, not preached


6. Employee Lifecycle Ownership
  • Own onboarding to exit
  • Ensure smooth transitions at every stage
  • Exit wrong-fit employees quickly and respectfully


7. HR Team Management & Planning (NEW Critical)

This role directly owns the strength, structure, and performance of the HR team itself.

HR Team Structure Ownership
  • Design and manage HR sub-functions such as:
  • Talent Acquisition
  • HR Business Partners (HRBP)
  • Learning & Development
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure clear role clarity within HR (no overlap, no confusion)


HR Team Capacity Planning
  • Plan HR team size based on:
  • Headcount growth
  • Hiring volume
  • Employee lifecycle load
  • Avoid:
  • Under-staffed HR (burnout, chaos)
  • Over-staffed HR (cost leakage)


HR Team Performance Management
  • Set KRAs & KPIs for each HR sub-function
  • Track:
  • Hiring TAT
  • Quality of hire
  • Attrition control
  • Employee satisfaction
  • Hold HR team accountable like any other business function


HR Capability Building
  • Upskill HR team in:
  • Business thinking
  • Data & dashboards
  • Difficult conversations
  • Ensure HR team evolves from support partner leader


8. HR Ops, Compliance & Risk
  • Ensure compliance across India & UAE
  • Manage payroll, policies, disciplinary actions
  • Mitigate people and legal risks proactively


9. Founder & Leadership Partnering
  • Act as a strategic partner to founders and CXOs
  • Provide data-backed people insights
  • Challenge leadership when required
