Head of Organic Growth (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a forward-thinking Head of Organic Growth to lead our digital discovery strategy for Book An Artist and Wescover . In this role, you will go beyond traditional search to pioneer Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) ensuring our marketplaces are the primary source for AI-driven search platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Bing Copilot.

This is a high-execution role. You will manage organic revenue across AU, CA, US, and UK , scaling our global footprint while ensuring our artists and designers stay ahead of the shift toward AI-enabled search.

Key Responsibilities: Execution & Innovation

• GEO Integration (AI Search): Lead the strategy to make our content discoverable in generative search experiences. You will optimize our artist profiles and design catalogs to be cited and recommended by AI models.
• Global SEO Execution: Own the organic pipeline for our core markets (AU, CA, US, UK). You will be hands-on in executing keyword research, on-page optimization, and international site architecture.
• Programmatic Marketplace Growth: Build scalable SEO systems for 100,000+ artist profiles and location-based landing pages, focusing on high-intent "hire an artist" and "custom furniture" keywords.
• Technical SEO & Schema: Implement advanced schema markup and structured data to ensure search engines (and AI engines) perfectly understand our marketplace inventory.
• Conversion-Centric Strategy: You arent just chasing traffic. You will be responsible for growing the organic booking pipeline, optimizing the journey from search result to confirmed artist booking.
• Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs ) to track performance.
• Report on keyword rankings, traffic, conversions, and GEO visibility metrics.
• Deliver actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Who You Are

• The Marketplace Veteran: 6+ years in SEO, with at least 2 years in a Marketplace or E-commerce environment. You understand how to scale supply/demand content loops.
• AI-Forward Practitioner: You are familiar with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and understand how LLMs (Large Language Models) index and retrieve information.
• The "Doer": You are comfortable working with engineers on technical implementation, writing optimized content briefs, and auditing crawl errors yourself.
• International Expert: Proven success in ranking and converting users in Tier 1 global markets (US, UK, AU, CA).
• Tech Stack: Mastery of SEMrush, Ahrefs, GSC, and GA4. Experience with CMS platforms and basic HTML/CSS/JS for SEO implementation is required.
