Job Description

Role Objective:

Lead corporate customer acquisition for group captive solar projects. Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and closing long-term PPAs to build a large size solar portfolio in Tamil Nadu.


Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead negotiations for long-term PPAs, navigating complex, large-scale commercial deals from origination to close.
  • Identify and acquire C&I customers under group captive model.
  • Develop business cases, modelling & analysis of potential new markets, and preparation of entry strategies.
  • Tariff modelling and savings analysis vs DISCOM tariff.
  • Manage term sheets and convert to bankable PPAs.
  • Maintain relationships with industrial clusters.
  • Lead & manage relationships with financial investors.
  • Participation in routes to markets for projects via government auctions & corporate PPAs.
  • Providing commercial support to leadership and project development teams.


Qualification:

  • 1015 years in solar IPP / open access business.
  • Must have personally closed corporate PPAs
  • Deep knowledge of Group captive regulations, Open access structure in Tamil Nadu, CSS, AS, banking charges, Strong network with C&I power buyers.
  • Strong communication skill and leadership skills.
