Position - Head Marketing Communication and Public Relations
Location - Bangalore
Work Mode 5 day week from office

Role Overview
The Head of Marketing Communications & PR will be responsible for shaping the organisations narrativeexternally and internally. You will design communication frameworks, protect and enhance brand equity, and ensure consistent storytelling across all touchpoints. This is a strategic + hands-on leadership position requiring strong judgement, cross-functional collaboration, and a sharp understanding of how communication influences culture, reputation, and growth.
What Youll Lead
Communication Strategy & Narrative Design
- Build an end-to-end communication roadmap that strengthens brand positioning and supports business priorities.
- Develop a unified narrative for the organisationfocusing on thought leadership, category shaping, and clear articulation of the companys value proposition.
Media Relations & External Presence
- Lead PR outreach, media briefings, authored articles, press notes, and leadership visibility programmes.
- Ensure brand consistency across digital platforms, corporate announcements, and industry events.
- Coach and prepare senior leaders for public engagements, interviews, and panel appearances.
Internal Messaging & Employee Engagement
- Establish a robust internal communication rhythmnewsletters, leadership notes, campaigns, and change communication.
- Strengthen culture, alignment, and employee awareness through clear, timely communication.
Reputation, Issues & Preparedness
- Build and maintain a crisis response framework, ensuring communication is timely, accurate, and coordinated.
- Advise leadership during sensitive developments requiring careful narrative management.
Cross-Functional Content & Stakeholder Alignment
- Partner with HR, marketing, operations, manufacturing, and commercial teams to support programmes, product rollouts, and organisational updates.
- Ensure communication reflects modern expectations around quality, trust, sustainability, and governance.
Team Leadership & External Partners
- Lead a four-member communication teamsetting goals, strengthening skills, and driving clarity across deliverables.
- Manage agencies, vendors, and budgets to maximise visibility and messaging effectiveness.
Analytics & Improvement
- Track communication impact through engagement insights, sentiment indicators, coverage quality, and campaign performance.
- Use data to refine content, improve communication channels, and drive continuous improvement.
Who Will Thrive in This Role
- Someone who has built and executed communication charters for large or distributed organisations.
- Strong media relations experience with the ability to manage narratives across traditional and digital platforms.
- Excellent editorial judgementable to simplify complex topics into compelling stories.
- Experience handling high-visibility situations or sensitive communication moments.
- Comfort working across regulatory, healthcare, or high-compliance industries is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in communications, corporate affairs, PR, or brand strategy, with team leadership exposure.
- Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, business, or a similar field.
