Role Summary
The Head of Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, student enrollment, and engagement. The role focuses on driving the institutions reputation as a premier education provider through innovative marketing campaigns and a deep understanding of the education sector.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Leadership
- Develop and execute a robust marketing strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals to achieve departmental objectives.
Brand Management
- Strengthen the institutions brand identity across traditional and digital platforms.
- Ensure consistent messaging and adherence to branding guidelines in all communication materials.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives to position the institution as a leader in education.
Campaign Management
- Plan and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns for student recruitment and retention.
- Oversee content marketing strategies, including blogs, videos, webinars, and social media.
- Collaborate with academic and admissions teams to align marketing efforts with enrollment goals.
Digital Marketing
- Optimize the institutions digital presence through SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Utilize analytics tools to measure campaign performance and improve ROI.
- Develop strategies for lead generation and nurturing through CRM tools and automation platforms.
Event Management
- Coordinate on-campus and virtual events, such as open houses, webinars, and workshops.
- Represent the institution at education fairs and conferences to expand its reach.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders & external stake holders.
- Foster partnerships with schools, colleges, and industry professionals for outreach. Budget Management
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and maximum ROI.
- Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for advertising, printing, and digital tools.
Qualifications and Experience
- Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience Minimum 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in the education industry or related sectors (e.g., ed-tech).
Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of the education industrys dynamics and challenges.
- Expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and campaign management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
