Job Responsibilities:


The Head of Marketing will be responsible for setting and executing the overall marketing strategy in alignment with the brand's vision and business objectives. This role involves creating an annual marketing plan, managing budgets, overseeing content and media strategies, and ensuring cohesive brand messaging across all channels. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to drive brand awareness and growth both in India and internationally.


The Head of Marketing at AMPM is someone who will wear multiple hats and someone who has dealt with various aspects of the JD at some level if not all.


Were on the hunt of a Generalist who isnt afraid to take the plunge into unknown waters and can drive systemic changes to elevate the AMPM experience as it moves beyond the 1-10 Journey.


Strategic Planning:


  • Develop and implement a clear marketing strategy that aligns with the brand's vision and business goals.
  • Create an annual marketing plan/calendar, leading the planning and implementation for both India and international markets.
  • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Sales Alignment:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing objectives with sales goals.
  • Content & Media Strategy:
  • Plan and monitor the annual content strategy to ensure it aligns with business goals and maintains brand tonality.
  • Create and oversee the implementation of the media strategy to enhance brand aspiration and awareness.


Brand and Product Campaigns:


  • Develop and execute overarching brand and product campaigns, ensuring they align with the annual marketing plan.


Event Execution:


  • Plan and execute physical events in line with business and brand requirements.


Digital Transformation:


  • Oversee the website experience, in collaboration with the eCommerce team, ensuring it is aspirational and user-friendly and maintains brand tonality.
  • Collaborate with eCommerce team to ensure CRM systems are implemented properly across all sales channels to maximize the brand & customer experience.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness across all social media channels.


Strategic Partnerships & Collaborations:


  • Identify and manage collaborations that align with the brand, creating aspiration and awareness.
  • Build and maintain a network of reliable external agencies and professionals to support marketing initiatives.


Reporting & Measurement:


  • Implement measures to ensure key metrics for customer & brand experience are getting measured across all sales channels.
  • Draft reports (weekly/monthly) to measure key metrics for growth & retention and align the overall brand strategy to the changing needs of the brand & its customers.


Qualifications:


  • 7+ years experience in Marketing and Brand Communications with atleast 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree/MBA is preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.


Other Skills Required:


  • Proficient with MS Excel & Power BI with strong analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Market Research (Qualitative & Quantitative)
  • Ability to analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of brand aesthetics and the ability to maintain brand consistency.
  • Proficiency in Marketing Software & Tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve strategic goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
