Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Head of Infrastructure Projects. (Candidates from Healthcare industry should only apply)


Position Overview

The Head of Projects will lead the end-to-end execution, monitoring, and delivery of real estate development projects in Healthcare & Education, across multiple locations. This role requires strong project management expertise, financial acumen, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to drive teams and vendors toward timely and quality completion. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry experience, strategic thinking, and hands-on leadership in project lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Planning

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution across real estate development projects across Healthcare and Education.
  • Ensure adherence to project management frameworks and best practices (PMI certification preferred).
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecyclefrom conceptualization to commissioning and handover.

2. Budgeting, Costing & Financial Analysis

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial feasibility models.
  • Monitor budget vs. actual expenditure, ensure cost control, and manage overruns effectively.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and project profitability.
  • Coordinate with finance teams on cash flows, vendor payments, and contract validations.

3. Project Audit, Monitoring & Reporting

  • Establish systems for project progress tracking, audit, and performance measurement.
  • Conduct periodic site reviews and quality audits to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
  • Generate detailed progress reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.

4. Team & People Management

  • Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary project teams including engineers, planners, and site personnel.
  • Build a culture of performance, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Manage resource allocation across projects to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluation of project staff.

5. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard contractors, consultants, and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Establish strong coordination mechanisms across vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Resolve escalations related to procurement, quality, timelines, and deliverables.

6. Experience & Expertise

  • 1820 years of experience in real estate project management (project planning, execution, commissioning and handover).
  • Strong understanding of construction & commissioning methodologies, compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience handling multi-location projects and large-scale developments (especially in Healthcare & Education sectors).

7. Travel Requirements

  • Role is based in Gurgaon, Haryana.
  • Willingness to travel across India and internationally (as required) for project reviews, vendor meetings, and audits.
