Role OverviewWe are hiring an Influencer Marketing Team Lead who will own influencer campaigns end-to-end , manage a small execution team, be the primary point of accountability for quality and timelines, and act as a bridge between clients, creators, and internal teams .
You will be responsible not just for getting work done , but for how the work gets done .
Key Responsibilities(Including but not limited to)
Campaign Ownership & Execution- Own influencer campaigns from brief to closure
- Translate brand briefs into clear influencer strategies and execution plans
- Ensure campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals, and go-lives are met without escalations
- Review scripts, content outlines, and final outputs for quality, brand alignment, and accuracy
- Ensure proper documentation of deliverables, links, screenshots, and reports
- Manage and guide a team of influencer marketing executives / interns
- Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure zero dependency mindset
- Train team members on communication standards, documentation, and process
- Reduce manager dependency by ensuring the team functions smoothly under your leadership
- Address performance gaps proactively instead of escalating them upward
- Oversee influencer shortlisting, outreach, negotiations, and confirmations
- Ensure clear, professional, and firm communication with creators
- Handle creator issues, delays, resistance, or misunderstandings independently
- Ensure compliance with briefs, timelines, exclusivity, and brand guidelines
- Act as a reliable POC for assigned brands
- Ensure clients receive timely updates, clarity, and professional communication
- Handle client concerns calmly and solution-oriented
- Ensure expectations are managed realistically and transparently
- Ensure all trackers, task sheets, and campaign documents are updated in real-time
- Maintain clean records of pricing, deliverables, approvals, invoices, and timelines
- Identify gaps in process and proactively suggest improvements
- Ensure internal hygiene no missed messages, no undocumented tasks, no loose ends
You are a good fit if you:
- Have 36 years of experience in influencer marketing (agency experience preferred)
- Have previously handled or mentored a team
- Can manage pressure, timelines, and people without constant supervision
- Are comfortable being firm, clear, and accountable
- Understand that leadership = ownership, not escalation
- Someone looking only for execution without responsibility
- Someone uncomfortable with accountability or decision-making
- Someone who needs hand-holding or constant validation
