Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Head to lead and oversee the strategic direction and operations of our HR function in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR strategy, optimizing HR operations, and ensuring the successful implementation of HR initiatives across the organization. The role demands a visionary leader with a strong background in HR management, leadership development, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the companys overall business objectives.
- Lead HR functions in India, ensuring effective integration of global HR strategies with local requirements.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational development and support business growth initiatives.
- Ensure the alignment of HR initiatives with the companys culture, vision, and values.
- Talent Management & Acquisition:
- Oversee talent acquisition strategies, including workforce planning, recruiting, and retention programs.
- Build and sustain strong talent pipelines, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Manage performance management processes, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop career progression and succession planning strategies to ensure leadership continuity.
- HR Operations Management:
- Ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, HR policies, compliance, and benefits management.
- Optimize HR processes through automation and continuous improvement to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee HR technology systems, ensuring they meet business needs and enhance employee experience.
- Employee Engagement & Retention:
- Foster a positive organizational culture by designing and implementing employee engagement programs.
- Lead employee feedback initiatives (surveys, focus groups) and develop action plans based on insights.
- Address employee grievances and conflict resolution to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee the compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity.
- Manage performance-based incentives, salary benchmarking, and benefit programs.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure full compliance with labor laws and HR regulations in India.
- Develop and manage risk mitigation strategies related to HR functions.
- Ensure the organization adheres to the highest ethical standards in all HR practices.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Provide regular HR metrics and reports to senior leadership, offering insights on talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement.
- Analyze HR data to improve decision-making, identify trends, and forecast HR needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 13+ years in HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of successfully managing HR strategy and operations in large, multi-location organizations.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing HR teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and align with organizational goals.
- Change Management: Proven ability to manage organizational change and transformation initiatives.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- HR Technology: Familiarity with HR management systems (HRMS) and the use of HR analytics for decision-making.
- Compliance Expertise: Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex HR challenges.
Preferred:
- Experience in managing HR across diverse regions within India.
- Certification in HR management (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRCI, CIPD) is a plus.
- Experience in handling global HR initiatives, especially for multinational corporations.
